Long overdue update

Whoops, been out of touch wtih my blog for a while and Lich King has been out ages time for a massive update which'll probably get turned into a small update with loads of little ones coming out of it.

So let's start at the very launch of Lich King, ok so it was Wednesday 12th November 2008 when I got my copy sent to me in the mail promptly followed by a quick install/waiting for servers to change over at 12am, however something unexpected happened and at 9pm server time the servers were converted (after I caught wind of this news from MMO-Champion) I logged on right away, getting my friend to log on with me we made Death Knights from the get go, I made an Undead Female Death Knight and he made a Blood Elf Male Death Knight (because he couldn't have enough BE Males...) and we had so much fun we spent the next 3 days going from 55-70 in Outland with the new speed it was even easier to level there and we quickly finished up leaving Northrend left.

I resumed playing my Druid at 70 and we did instance after instance, quest after quest and zone after zone. It was amazing fun to tank new instances and doing it with friends made it feel alot better, was no where near as fast as leveling the DK up, but was fresh and alot of the quests in Lich King were fun. Eventually ended up dinging 80 a couple of weeks after that and soon after joined a raiding guild called Distortion, started out 25man Naxx and got swift upgrades eventually got to the point where my Druid was kitted out in full 25man gear (except gloves but we dont mention Sarth luck..) and had some nice off spec gear, managed to get alot of Seasonal titles, Ambassador, Champion of the Frozen Wastes etc.

Eventually some drama lead me to play my Gnome Rogue alot more and got to the point where I was moving from content to content, pushed my way past Outland at a slow speed and did the first bit of Northrend with a friend at the start, then gave up waiting and just pushed up to 80 (managed to do 74-77 in one day played, which wasnt bad going). Started doing some Naxx on her and gearing up, started at 1k DPS when I just dinged, now fast forward a few weeks and I have quite a few epics, epic flying and a new hair cut.. There is still times when I miss every single Haomarush character I have, maybe more than I'll admit but as a server Grim Batol is alot better and anytime I need a group for something I can just pug pretty much anything with groups going all day for anything I need. We also have a nice little group going for naxx of close friends which I love, only thing I miss is my Druid. Managed to RAF a Druid with another friend, but I feel like leveling other characters first might be wise, cause I mean I would die inside doing it with the gear I have and doing it Moonkin might be something I'd consider, although right now I think I need more gear. Just started doing a RAF Mage as well, think I'll get that to 60 just to be there and after that who knows.

Everything on Haomarush still needs to be leveled, looking at 3.1 upcoming Priests will be the next big thing, should level Milly and probably will but there is alot to do on Grim Batol first. No matter where I end up in the future I will never fully leave my Druid behind, even if 3.1 looks like feral tanking Druids will get left out in the cold I will always play my Druid no matter what. Thought about leveling another tanking class like a Warrior or Paladin maybe, they seem to be getting all the good stuff but that's something in the future. Plan of having Shaman, Paladin, Rogue, Mage, Warrior on GB and Warlock, Druid, Hunter, Priest, DK on Haomarush seems to be going well so far, want everything at 80 but feels like a push and a burn out to get them all at 80.

Still there is no rush, there is alot of content left to see and I imagine everyone will get leveled in time (it also feels nicer doing quests Alliance side for some reason, lore feels stronger than Horde quests). That's my report from the last few months, might have more to say but right now I'll call it a day :)
